Each of the four games can be played in the original classic graphics, or
in new, updated graphics featuring popular Nintendo characters like Mario,
Yoshi and Donkey Kong. The four games are Fire, Manhole, Oil Panic and
Octopus.
In Fire, one of the first Game & Watch hits, you control two firemen as
they use their net to attempt to save people who are falling out of a
burning building. Juggle them into a waiting ambulance to score.
In Manhole, you must use your manhole cover to provide safe passage for an
endless parade of people over four open manhole hazards.
Oil Panic is one of the most challenging Game & Watch games. You must
catch falling drops of oil and pass them to a computer controlled
assistant.
The title character in Octopus guards an undersea treasure you must try to
salvage. Dive into the water and avoid his tentacles as you go for the
gold.
Game & Watch Gallery also contains information about some of the other
popular Game & Watch titles such as Ball, Chef and Vermin. As in the
original Game & Watch games, your high scores in each game will be saved
by battery-backed memory. Game & Watch Gallery can be played on any Game
Boy or on the Super Game Boy accessory for Super NES.
Game & Watch Gallery is available now wherever Game Boy games are sold,
with a MSRP of $19.95* For more information on this or any other Nintendo
