Stuck in the Pyramid : Secret of Evermore

I've recently bought the Secret of Evermore and have become stuck at the pyramid.
I've activated all the doors and accidently lost my bridges across the water in the lower left
side of the pyramid. Now I'm unable to cross the water and can't find a way to reactivate that
pathway. Nothing I've tried works. Before I was aware that it was a problem, I saved my progress to the other save slots
so I can't even go back to before I entered the pyrmid.Has anyone else run across this problem? I'd appreciate
hearing from anyone who has any answers. Than you.

OK. I give up. where are he diamond eyes in the pyramid?
I have the golden axe and I think I have broken evrery door.
I'm thinking I might have missed one door, but know my dog follows
me evrywhere like a butt head instead of sitting obediently on the
switches that open the gates.
Can anyone gaive me a hint?
