While fighting Ozzie, Slash and Flea the second time (in "Ozzie's Fort") you
can steal the Ozziepants, Flea Vest and Slasher 2.

The Flea Vest is an accessory that does "M Def. +12
The Ozziepants is a helmet that does "???"
The Slasher 2 is a weapon for Crono that has an Att. Pwr. of 155.

In regards the to Ozzie Pants. Is there any way that it does not chaos you?
I also theorize that it does all the other status ailments (poison, lock,
etc.) like the Cursed Sheild from Final Fantasy III. Has any one figured a
way to stop the ??? effect? If so have you fought with the Pants on for a
while to see if they "uncurse"?

No way. One must be nuts to wear pants on his head! :-)

The Ozzie pants is more a joke than a "powerful" item.

To use the Ozzie Pants without going nuts and becoming cursed just use
Sarahs bracelot, or known as the AMULET.

yeah...I stole his pants too. If you wear them as a helmet that
character goes crazy and you really have no control over them, but if you
notice...the OzziePants improve the character's defense dramatically.
This is the only plus I've found to the OzziePants so far.

Hey, just a question, but....
Ozzie is pretty damn nasty lookin'. Why would you wanna wear his pants
on your head? <giggle> I have a theory... Maybe the character goes
crazy cause of the smell... =) <louder giggle>

Do you also notice how your Hit Points also decrease? I don't
want to know how that could happen.
