Shadows of the Empire
great game, great sounds, it's basically what you would expect from Lucas
Arts.
The animation is extremely smooth, excellent frame rate, etc. I wont bore
you with the details of the game because other people have already posted,
but I will recommend this game to anyone with an N64.
Crusin USA
Well, what could I say about this game. when I first turned it on it
sounded like there was a porno playing on my tv, you know that cheesy type
of music. Despite having cheesy music, the music quality isn't really all
that bad.
Graphics could have definately been done a hell of alot better.
As for actual game play itself, there are constant popups while you are
racing, your look ahead view is very limited. the frame rate is not too
good either.
Very strange game yet somewhat interesting.
Not as bad as I thought it would be, but it still is pretty bad.
This game is definately another example of poor programming, rush job feel
to it.
Maybe if they worked on it another month or two it would have been a heck
of alot better. I dont know. I cant recommend paying 60 bucks for it, but
if you have a brother or sister I would consider going in halvsies with
them, 30 bucks each isnt so bad, or just rent it.
Basically if youre not bothered by constant popups, and if you love racing
games you may like this game. I was not impressed. Yet strangely enough I
will probably keep it just to add to my n64 library.
SOTE overall rating 9 out of 10
Crusin overall rating 5 out of 10
hope this helps people who cant decide
It's just like the arcade. If you like the arcade game, you'll like the
port to the N64. If not, don't bother.
