FF3 I'm Stuck!!!!!!!

and I can't, for the life of me beat the boss at the top. Everytime he
dies he uses Ultima and I die. I have no problem killing him, but once
he does that it's game over!
Please help me.......................PLEASE!

You need to either A)Cast Life 3 on one of the members of your party.
That way they are resurrected after Ultima is cast.
or
B)Rasp/Drain (whatever takes mp away) until he's
out of MP so he can't cast Ultima. I think he
passes away when he tries to, but I'm not sure.

Rasp his 50000 MP until he dies. Life 3 might be easier and faster. He has 50000 HP as well,
so take your pick.

everchanging shield, it should be faster. Life 3 would only work faster, if your Bserk
a party member with great weapons, aka. Atma and Ragnarok.
Also, he will be casting spells as well using up his MP which will help you drain
his MP faster. Helpful hints: have your most powerful magician use the Gem Box
and have at least one member use the Wall Ring.

It's not too bad if they have the Osmose magic. Use it on like any lvl
mob who isn't dead and they'll get it back and they can heal and other stuff.

Or, keep close track of how many HP he has, and when he is about to die,
use the esper (Palidor?) that makes all your chars do a Jump attack. At
least some of them should be off of the screen when he dies and so the
Ultima won't hit them.
As for fighting your way down the tower, WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE!!!
Use Mog w/ Moogle Charm!!

If you can, go get the moogle charm from the moogle cave...you won't have to
fight anything going up or down the tower.

attack...when the Ultima goes off that guy's in the air...he comes down
after the schmuck's dead and he can revive the rest of the party who got
smoked...

Doesn't work. You can't use any battle commands but Magic and Item.
Just use Palidor as you are about to kill him.
