Star Wars and Robotech

Does anyone know enough about these two games to make a comparison
(reccomendation), as I can only afford buying one of the two?

Making a comparison will be difficult at this time, because Star Wars is
done, while Robotech needs a lot of work. Hopefully, you can buy Star
Wars in December and have enough money to buy Robotech when it comes out
next year.

Robotech is flight only, while Shadows of the Empire will be flight and

True, Shadows does include flying and combat levels, but your statement
about Robotech may not be. This is Robotech, the Veritech jets transform
into giant walking 'mechs. You get flight and ground combat without ever
leaving your cockpit.

I sure hope so, as that is one of the more unique features of Robotech. I
wonder if I will be able to launch my entire inventory of rockets
simultaneously--much like Max Sterling ;-)

Actually, I hear that Robotech will have some RPG elements. Walking
around and talking to people etc. Sort of a sub-plot.
