[Chrono Trigger] Help! Where can I find the Moonstone?

I've looked all over the place and I still can't find that thing. Can
someone give me a hint please?

This only works if you put it in the special cave:
Go back to the middle ages and buy some jerky. Go back to the mayors
house and offer it to the wife who needs it. She will offer to pay you,
but don't accept the money. She will tell her kids about sharing. Now go
back to present day and talk to the corrupted mayor. He will lead you to
the stone.

I totally forgot where I originally found it (was it 6,000,000 B.C.?)

Son of Sun can be defeated by attacking the things that float around him.
If you hit the right one, SS will take damage. I think there's a pattern,
but I'm not sure.
