Aside from Mario 64 (definately not worth $270) this system sucks.
I've wasted an additional $230 on Star Wars (so-so, probably because
I'm a fan), KI Gold (worse than so-so) & Mortal Kombat (worst game
ever?) and have been more disappointed with each purchase. My PC MK3
and Dark Forces blow away these dud games. I've rented all other
available titles and aside from wave race( again not worth the hefty
price tag) they suck!
DK2 & DK3 are still more played in my household but come to think of
it these are a few of a handful of decent games for SNES (another
blown wad of cash)
I'm sticking to my PC unless DK for N64 (due in 1 year) totally rocks!
Nintendo will never see another penny from this sucker who has
probably blown over $3,000 on their various garbage throughout the
years.

Interesting. I've actually been rather happy with my Nintendo 64.
I've bought Mario, Waverace, Gretzky, and Shadows ... in that order.
While Mario and Waverace stand about the others (and perhaps any other
home system games PERIOD), I think Gretzky and Shadows are BOTH worthy
of purchase.

I didn't like Gretzky and first as I just wasn't blown away, but this
game has really grown on me and I've yet to play four player with
friends. I'll be getting a couple more controllers for Christmas.

And Shadows ... well, being a big Star Wars fan, I know my
expectations are ALWAYS going to be very high. I was worried it might
be a little easy after seeing a lot of people complaining about it's
difficulty (or lack thereof) but if you play it on medium, that
shouldn't be a problem.

Actually, the problem lies probably with the gamers today, not the
games. Seems kids will go out and buy a game but then rely upon cheat
books or help from groups like this (TOO MUCH help that is) and so
they complain it's too easy. All the while though, THEY'VE DONE
NOTHING themselves ... and are probably playing the game on easy.

Back to Shadows, I think it too is well worth the purchase. Hell,
concerning its difficulty, well, I'm still on level two (where I was
killed by the AT-ST rather quickly and sadly). Graphics are very
good. Sound is good. I like it.

I like my system. I'm glad I abandoned Sega. I wouldn't mind having
a Playstation but I must give Nintendo the edge for their ingenuity,
quality, and proven track record.

As for Mortal Kombat Trilogy, Cruisin', and Pilot Wings. I passed.
Sure Cruisin' can't be as bad as some say. PW just never did it for
me. And Mortal ... well, guess they just got to suck it up there.
Heard it BITES.

And KI Gold, well, I saw it. I played it. Thought it was OK, but NOT
worthy of purchase. Hell, I'd buy a PS and Tekken 2 before I bought
KI Gold. Not to say it was bad. Just seemed pretty ... simplistic
and ... inferior.

So whats your point? That you hate console systems but keep buying them
anyway and then complaining that they aren't as good as your pc? Well,
sell the N64 and the SNES and stick with your PC then if your going to get
that worked up about it.

I'm very happy with the N64 and the games for it. I have Mario64, Waverace
and SOTE and those will be more than enough to keep me occupied for a
while. I'm skipping MKT and probably KI also since I've already got enough
fighting games on the Playstation and Saturn.

How can anyone not like WaveRace? I think that it's the best N64 game so
far, and I 'm not really a fan of racing games. Here's how I list the
games that I've played in order of MY preference:

1. Wave Race
2. Mario
3. SOTE
4. Hockey
5. PilotWings
6. Crusin'

Didn't think that Crusin' was worth the money that I spent on it, and
probably wouldn't have bought PW if there had been the other games
available. KI and MKT didn't impress me, so I didn't buy them. SOTE
doesn't match the graphics of WaveRace, but it's got a lot of variety and
is fun.

This guy definately has N64 envy. He probably never had a N64 or played
it. A Star Wars fan saying SOTE so-so? What a liar! I absolutely HATE
Star Wars and SOTE is my second favorite N64 game(behind WR64 of
course). As for your statement of WR64 sucking, you must really be
insane. MK3 better than MK3 PC? Now that's crazy! MK3 has nothing on
MKT. True, MKT was a rush job, but saying PC's MK3 is better further
proves my point. I am very confused on your price points. When reading
Mario costing 270$, I assumed you meant with system. But then, you say
SOTE was another 230$? How the HELL can you spend 3000$ on N64 stuff?
You are the worst liar I've seen. Maybe you just got confused about the
prices because when buying a PC game, you need to get more memory. And
then you realize you need a new 3-D card. Then you think, "If I don't
get this new sound card, the sound will suck," and buy that too. Now
you have a 500$ game. Enjoy your PC!!!...

...because in two months you'll spend another 500$ on stuff to allow you
to play the games right. Jackoffing fool.

Um, excuse me. I meant, "MK3 PC better than MKT?"
