I think that the game is at a decent difficulty setting, I'm not winning each
level the first time through but I'm not getting killed quickly either.
As for the game itself I think it is great. There never really is any
boring parts as some people have said (of course on Easy maybe their are
1 storm trooper per level :) ). If you think it is boring just turn up the
difficulty (that's what it is there for), or just walk around faster... :)
I really enjoyed the scrap yard/train level since the level seemed to be
large and detailed. I enjoyed seeing the Jawa sand cruise waiting for the
train to go by. :)
So far I have all of the challenge points, and have enjoyed my purchase....
On a side note, does anyone know a good way to go down past the fans in the
canyon level??????? I never seem to time it right, and get beat up pretty
badly.... :(

So as not to get discouraged? I've sunk a bit over 12 hours into SOTE on
EASY... and I've only made it to Gall Spaceport thus far. Granted, I spent
about 6 of those hours trying to lasso me an AT-AT <g>.

I find that if you go when it is safe for the first fan it should be
good timing. Don't hit your jetpack until you have almost hit the
ground though...

Ditto, I also have many hours into it on medium, I simply decided not
to play in on anything but medium (the manual even says if you want the
full effect to play it at least on medium)

Completely agreed, it's like if they put an easy option in there people
play it on easy and piss and moan when the beat it in a day.. The
difficulty
on medium and above is nothing short of hard... But not to hard, a rather
prefect mix, enough to make me want to come back for more ..

Agreed, I was never once yawning .. This game makes me feel like I
have been placed right into a Star wars world..

Not a bad sequence... Ya' know the neat part is how well they increased
the difficulty on each level.. It takes at least a good 5 times usually
to make it through any 1 section (accept section 3 the shooter, 1st
time for me :)), just to get familiar, learn how to use your new "tools".

We'll , can't say I got 'em all just yet, 90% ..

Actually it is a timing issue.. I do not use the jetpack or anything
and have made it through there quit a few times un-scavved, it is
simply a matter or getting the timing on when to drop and try to fall
in a motion that follows behind the blades ..

I was shocked when I actually was killed on the Jedi setting on level 3.
IG-88, however, has really jumped up in AI on the Jedi setting. I used to
be able to kill him without using the invincibility (on medium -- I never
played it on Easy or Hard) and now I need it and it's no longer there... :(
Maybe that should be a :), because to me a challenge is a good thing...

If you need any help let me know. I just finished helping to write a
walkthrough, and it should be up on the web in the next couple of days.
It just has to be HTMLified. Until then I can answer most of the questions
from my notes and memory.

Yep, falling without the Jetpack is the key... (of course you want to turn
it on before you go splat)

I use the jet-pack and spiral down in time with the fan blades.
