Turok 2..when do I get to Snipe?

Hi, i'm in level one..i've freed 2 kids and lit 3 beacons..i have a shotgun,
gun, and bow...when do I get to use the sniper mode? I've tried like the book
says, but no luck! Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Geo,

You get to use the sniper mode once you get the Tek Bow (upgrade to
standard Bow).
The Plasma Rifle also has a sniper mode..

When you get the Tek bow you will be able to snipe to your heart's content!
Just arm the weapon then press R (on the D- pad) and the sniper scope comes up
(press it again to dis-enable it). Zoom in and out by holding R (shoulder
button) and pressing Up-C or Down-C.

You mean Level 3, don't you? I got the Plasma gun in level 3. I was
surprised to see that it has a totally different snipe screen than the
tek bow has.... pretty cool.
