Why not simply call it Zelda 64
This Oric or Ra Ra does not sound appealing

I wouldn't believe any of this until you read it in Nintendo Power (the
official source for Nintendo news).

The part about the transportation and Link at different ages was true
though. If this is indeed as innovative as Link to the Past, i am reserving
my copy now!!!

some site wrote that Nintendo wanted to begin moving away
from the "64" suffix.

also, the SNES Zelda wasn't called "Super Zelda" . . .
that'd sound silly, as i think "Zelda 64" would.

adding "64" to the title would, in my opinion, cheapen the entire
series.

the Legend of Zelda is Beyond any system . . . it is a way of life. :)

of Time." If you ask me, it stinks. Aside from just sounding stupid,
every Zelda game subtitle in the past has incorporated the hero's name.
How about "A Link Through Time." Sounds much better, IMHO.

> But I'd take *anything* over "Zelda 64." Sounds way too generic; "Tecmo
Secret of the Stars", anyone?

A good release title for Zelda 64 would be "The Legend of Zelda: Link
Through the Ages." as link changes his age in the game.

"Zelda 64" is officially named Zeld: The Occarana of Time (Not sure if it is
spelled correctly. Should be spelled like the tool in Link's Awakening for
Gameboy) Anyway numerous N64 sites, including n64.com and n64hq have
announced this; however, it has not been confirmed that this will be the
title for the US release. Keep your fingers croosed that they will drop the
crappy "64" suffix from the end of the title over here.

The official title for "Zelda 64" in Japan is Zelda: The Occarana of Time
(Not sure if spelled correctly) This has been confirmed by various nintendo
sites. N64.com and N64hq have both confirmed the name for the Japan
release; however, the title for the US release has not been determined as of
yet. Let's hope that they decide to drop the crappy "64" suffix from the
title all together. This is a trend that must stopp immediately. Also
F-Zero 64 has been renamed to F-Zero X. Seems like they are taking a step
in the right direction.
