Well early this morning I was looking for SOTE reviews and look what I
found on N64.COM.....
BEGIN N64.COM CRAP
Next to Super Mario 64,
Shadows is the only big name the
Nintendo 64 will see until Mortal
Kombat Trilogy releases in early
'97, and in the opinion of many
gamers, it's the biggest name the
system will ever see
END N64.COM CRAP
Ummm excuse me guys....I have MKT sittin in my living room. It is
already out. Or dont you remember the review you wrote about it? And as
far as I am concerned Turok and Mario Kart and Zelda look to be bigger
better games. The only thingthat ever made a StarWars game good was the
fact that it was a star wars game. I will never read or rely on N64.COM
again after reading this.

Well, that's your opinion. The fact is "in the opinion of many gamers,
it's the biggest name the system will ever see." I happen to agree.
Within the entire gaming community, the Star Wars name IS the biggest the
system will ever see. Best GAME? Maybe not... Biggest NAME? Most
Definitely. There is a HUGE difference...

You have to be an imbecile to leave a site because they made a mistake. I
can understand abandoning a site if they repeatedly misinfor you, but
for a mistake or proofreading error?? Give me a break.
www.N64.com is a great site...one of the best on the net, and I will
certainly be checking it frequently N64 information.

It was an old article...they just added some screenshots and some
movies.

YEp it was areal old article that at the time MKT wasnt slated to be
released until 97
I assure you that within the next few days an updated review of the game
will be there.

i'm not defending n64.com, but what they do is when no new info is
available they use info from the last time they wrote it and then just add
new movies to the same page, saves writing i guess. this excerpt below
was written about 2 months ago when no one knew which games would be
first. they have used old info and just added new movies and picts to it
before with MKT and others.

What really sucks is that Next Gen online, and UGP had the same damn
review. Are all these Imagine guys lazy or what?

I'm glad you brought this up because we didn't realize we were creating such
confusion.
On our N-Games page, we list all the previews we've ever done next to all the
reviews we've ever done. (N64.com *previews* a game a few months before it's
released, then *reviews* it closer to the release date.) We don't take down the
preview after we've done the review -- and I think this is what's causing the
confusion.
The MKT preview you clicked on the other day was posted to our site awhile ago
-- and much more recently we posted a review.
We're working on a better organization for the N-Games page -- possibly
something that archives the preview of a game after we've reviewed that same
game.
