Dear Folks,

I have been playing Demon's Crest on the SNES.

I was going great guns and really enjoying the game, when suddenly I
finished it!

Looking at my inventory I don't have:

Fire Power: Buster Demon Fire
Crest Power: Water Time Heaven?
Talisman: Only 1 - Crown
Only 2 vellums
Only 2 potions

I have defeated all the stage bosses you see in the end sequence but I am
sure I am missing a lot of the game?

How it happened was I met Phalanx? for the second time (where he does his
whirlwind spell?) and after defeating him a new section opened up. I went in
there and met a big demon who put up two spiked bone pillars with fiery
skulls on top and threw blue balls at me. I defeated him, he tried to summon
one of the crests, failed, disappeared, his castle crumbled and that was it.
THE END.

During the end sequence Firebrand flew over all sorts of places on the map
I'd never seen before. Even in sections I thru IV that I have finished
there are underwater area and areas behind stone blocks that I know I
need the Water Gargoyle and the Buster power to get to.

So is it possible to finish the game without getting all this stuff and
visiting all the sections?

Rgds,

Iain Noble

Internet provider prejudice aside, the answer may be that you haven't
finished the entire game. I've read that -- like Capcom's Ghouls n'
Ghosts titles -- you need to complete the game twice to see the "true"
ending. Trouble is, you'll need to find every item and then finish the
game. This will give you a password, which restarts you from the
beginning, with the game difficulty slightly higher. Go thru the game
again, and you'll fight a new final boss (Dark Force, or some such name).
And no, I don't have the password... :-)

First off there are 6 different endings in Demon's crest and no
matter if it is on disk or not, to see the best ending you need
to have every single Item in the game, that means every spell,
velum, vitality point, all the crests and all the secret items.
When you have all this and beat every board and then go to the
last guys palace and beat him, then and only then will you get
the Ultimate Password. I did that and beat the game. The only
reason why I know there are six endings is beause i got some
premature endings when iplayed the game, and I bought the cart.
So the next time you go criticizing someone on a game and call
them immature make sure you have your facts straight

Young and apparently very stupid child. Don't bother even addressing me.
Since you can't even finish a game like Demon Crest which was only ripped
on for being
too easy. 95 percent of the reported early endings with DC are either
because they are on disk or phony rams. Still I spose it could be
possible you actually rented the game but that won't explain your juvenile
attitude. So you probably are one of those guys so mad a capcom for the
little thing they put in every level of there cart. Actually I'm the one
canceling my account because of the gamer's kindergarten comments on this
line. A person that has a playstation, saturn, snes, 3do, jag and respect
for all game ideas does not belong on this waste of time.

hope this was a troll post, otherwise wild how far up their own asses people were even back then. The outright misinformation, the self-righteousness, the elitism. I mean, someone talking up all of their videogames as if it gives them status, while calling someone else childish. And bragging about having a 3D0 and a jag of all things.
