Intellivision II HOok Up to New TV'S?

I dug out my old Intellivision II game console to play with my kids. DO
I still need to use the antenna switch box or can I simply plug it into
the input of my modern TV?
How can I hook up the Intellivision to my new TV? I have an AVR and a
VCR too with both audio and video inputs.

Your best bet to get your old Intellivision up and running at its best is
to head out to your local Radio shack and pick up one of these.

It's an F to Phono adapter. Takes the regular RCA cable from the
Intellivision and converts it to a normal cable connector which you can
just hook up to the back of your TV. If you want to have that and your
normal cable line hooked up at the same time, you can pick up a simple
A/B switchbox while you're there too. Here's the URL for that item.

Again, both these items can be picked up at your local Radio Shack, or if
you don't mind the few day wait, you can usually get them real cheap off
eBay.
