i used channel 3...switch was also on 3....i flipped it to 4 just in case, but
never actually tried channel 4 (all other systems go fine for me on 3)
rf box like normally came with it.....
i wish i could find some pal items here....the carts that were with it were the
standard ntsc issued versions
I am going to try a different rf cable now....maybe it is just a bad cable....i
took the unit apart and all seems extra nice inside it......it is not my only
CV so it's not too important (but it "stumped" me :-)
Same here....my one and only Coleocvision only plays in B&W.
Looks clean inside......Someone must have a fix for this!!

Is there a source for these new, or at least for the funky connectors to
wire up to a homebrewed supply?

FWIW, it is my experience that the power switches are more likely to be
the problem than the power supply. Even when switching out the power
supply helps, it's probably because you got one that was over-spec.
The real culprit is the power switch. They were made with bad grease in
them, and in the few I've opened, all have had it dried up into
something resembling that crap that collects on your mouse rollers. The
best fix is to desolder them, take them apart, and re-grease them. But
this is a lot of work, and I've been working on a custom ROM, so I've
just been collecting a stack of 20 or so (and a few more than that of
power supplies) to work on when I finish my code. I have one I think I
did with vaseline a couple of years back which I really should take
apart to see how it looks inside.
Not i havn't tried that yet.
Would a new power supply really help?

I had an Inty like that once. I now have a properly working Inty (the
same one! I fixed it!).
What I did in that case was find the r/g/b control potentiometers and
fiddled with them till something happened: one particular Pot put the
colour on.
I don`t know how the CV works - I've not opened mine as the RF signal is
particularly strong on it so I don`t need to - but it may be the same.
You could possibly try detuning it slightly (there should be a screw
hole on the RF modulator).
Also, try a different TV. The old TV I used before still couldn`t
display the colour (though I didn`t try retuning it then) whereas my new
WEGA 32" displays it magnificently.
Of course, this is a PAL INTY, not an NTSC CV, so YMMV....
Best of luck,
