OK, Brodie said over two weeks ago that the S-Video cables
had arrived at Atari, and was already shipped out.

TO WHERE???????? At the local Babbages the delivery date
is still set at April 15, they have heard nothing else!

Has anyone seen the ATARI S-Video cable anywhere? Or was
Brodie.. <gulp>.. NOT TELLING THE TRUTH????

Hope not!

SOME S-Video adaptor cables HAVE been shipped, but you're
more likely to get one NOW if you'd already ordered one direct
from Atari or can find one at an Atari dealer that's carrying
the Jaguar. MY understanding is that people who ordered them
direct from Atari got priority, with most of the rest (available
at the time) being given to PSS for distribution to smaller
dealers. The retail CHAINS very well may not get any S-Video
cables for another month or so.

Bob told the truth -- the ones that came to Atari HAVE been
shipped!

Nils,

S-Video cables did come in and were sent out from Atari, but it wasn't the
whole consignment of them. More are due to come in and go on out again soon.
Perhaps your Babbages is due to get their shipment then.

FYI, a new shipment of S-Video cables came into Atari Thursday. If you've
ordered your cable from Atari, it should be going out soon. Also, more dealers
should start receiving their shipments soon.

Also, Tempest 2000 is very close to shipping!... :)

I called Chips'n'Bits today, and they said that it would be 3-4 weeks
before they would get it. Should I cancel my pre-order there and go
somewhere else?

Strange I went to a place called the Game Hunter here in South San Jose on
Saturday (Mar. 26) and they two on the shelf. I walked in, bought one for
$19.95, and walked out. And it was only a few miles from my house. Just
lucky I guess.
