Ok heres the scoop. i had gotten ahold of this tempest machine that
was all tore apart. guy said it didnt work and wanted to know if i
could fix it. i said i would do what i can. so i took all the pieces
home and assembled it back to its former glory and was looking at the
mobo and realized it was missing chips on the aux board. no big deal i
found somone who had had some chips just for it...i put those chips in
and started up the machine and get a pop sound. so i turn it off real
quick and pull out the board to realize that one of the transistor
array microchips has busted a piece off the top of the rom...weird so
i assume its defective and send the board out to repair. I got a new
board back that has a warranty till next month on it but when i power
that board up it does the same thing??? WTF. the lights on the board
are still on and so is the monitor. should i be looking at a possible
bad power supply or even a bad amp board that is in there? there isnt
much else in this cab and if you have some answers that would be
great...im lost now

Your AR-II power board is probably screwed up and/OR your edge
connector harness needs to be rebuilt. Those are always prime
suspects.
