Spy Hunter is from those "good ol' days" when games typically didn't have
endings. All of the versions were like this and did go on forever
(presumably until you flipped the score... which was big in those days...
heck... I still remember when I first flipped Pac-Man for the 2600...
Yeesh! I must've been crazy!) I'm only assuming that the NES version was
the same, however, because I've never been all that keen to keep playing
just to find out! ;)
(By the way.... wasn't the Spy Hunter theme actually the Peter Gunn theme
song? [As if anyone else is gonna remember Peter Gunn, anyway...])

I've used the game genie code that gives you infinite lives and I just
keep on going forever.
Oh btw, here's a Spy Hunter trick you may or may not know about:
if while you're the boat, you run into the side of the boathouse, the
road will be water and after you keep going, the cars will turn into
boats.

You mean versions of the song (which was pretty cool) or of the original
TV show (which I've been trying to track down for ages)?
(I always thought a good big-budgetted Hollywood remake of Peter Gunn

Yep -- we played it in high school band one year... The show was pretty
good, IMHO. You can sometimes catch it in re-runs. Be warned that it's in
B&W, a contemporary of The Fugitive TV series...

The best version of the Peter Gunn theme is done by a band called
"The Jody Grind". They took a traditional version of the music and put
lyrics to it. Unfortunately their CD's are out of print so here's the
lyrics (apply to your favorite version of the song...)
