Tristan.....You've obviously got me confused in your various state
of mind....Art & I are 2 different people & I have not flamed you,
let alone until the end of time.
It almost seems to me that you actually want me to get up here &
flame you & connect you to the TWOBITKID, aka Ed Saunders & the rest
of the Stone Mtn Gang.
I think you should research your associates a little better before
entering into business with them.
Why on earth would you step on Chris' post like that? Are you
jealous of these people he has dealt with? Why would you be if you
claim you are not selling here anymore? You puzzle me with
your posts & seemingly meaningless emails to me.
We have never done business together, so I would have no reason
to flame you. Two years ago you posted about using a FS25 starter
in a marquee, & I simply advised that the marquee starter was a FS2,
and you have somehow been stewing on that considering it a flame,
which would take a GREAT stretch to make it so. It was not
something directed at you, but merely to stop a lot of people from
running out & buying FS25 starters that they did not need. Since you
have sent me a copy that you have been clinging to all this time,
I've read it several times to see if I said something you could
possibly misconstrue, and I have to say...I cannot find a thing.
If you must blame someone for your woes, I'd suggest you look no
further than your best buddy. Of course, he blames everything on
the people who work for him, so guess who's next in line.
Your emails to me have run hot & cold, and I have attributed that
to the person doing the whispering in your ear, and have kind of
blown it off. I figured the good ones were you talking, and the
not so good ones came from down the street. Maybe I've been wrong.
Happy Gaming.....
PostScript: Ed...please keep your threats to yourself...I've only
posted what is readily available at dejanews & I, personally, have
never dealt directly with you, either.

Big Bear <bob...@bellsouth.net> Thanks The Real Bob Roberts™
For parts http://personal.msy.bellsouth.net/~bob147
For help http://www.dameon.net/BBBB
let me paint ay a quick picture....
Being a newbie, I purchased my first lot of arcade games... 14 in all, some
working some not.
My first Internet transaction was with a gentleman from AZ... John Butler. I
had a heavy barrel game that was working but in a Ms Pac cab. I wanted to
restore the Ms. pac so I offered the components up on the board, John an I
struck a deal.. a trade. I was looking for a Defender board set to replace the
stargate converted defender game that was in the lot. When I received the
comments from John, to my surprise was a bunch of extra stuff. There was an
extra complete ROM board, sound board. and I-face board... how many time to ya
get extra stuff... not that often
(bare with me.. this is going somewhere)
Now that my Defender was up and running I started to search for a Stargate cab
and posted another message. I got the usual response; offering me striped cabs
for $200 and $300 + shipping. Since my only plans for this game was to add it
to my bleak collection and not whoring it out on Ebay, these prices were out of
the question... until Art. Art offered me a stargate cab stating that it was
completely striped and was basically firewood. He said the sides of the cab
had some kind of formica paneling on it and the cab in general was in very poor
condition.. but.. the price was right.. free. Eight days after I sent Art a
check for $30 to pallet the game, it arrives at my local forward air, I picked
it up, brought it home, and unwrapped it. The cab was in better shape then
some "mint" ones I have seen advertised on Ebay. It was complete with all
doors, coin mechs and even a working power supply. The was a CP of the
converted game including a joystick, 7 buttons and the original CP stargate
hidden under this mess. There was even a monitor bezel and a marquee. The
formica was peel back to reveal the original stargate art work in very good
condition. The game now houses my Stargate boards and is awaiting a working
monitor.
not bad for free.. Thanks again ART
In the lot was a none working Asteroids game. Me being new and having
absolutely NO idea how to fix these thing I contacted Bob Roberts. Bob and I
spent about a week exchanging e-mails and pictures of this game. Bob showed
HUGE patients in dealing with this idiot that barely new where to plug a game
in. The end results was about ten picture exchanges, at least 20 e-mail
exchanges, a $2.00 sale for Bob (shipping was more than the part) and my
asteroids game working fine...
Thanks Bob
I have a BIG problem when people try to discredit another gamer with no cold
hard facts I have dealt with both Bob and Art and they both went out of there
way to help me out.
I'm not trying to throw fuel on the fire.. just my $.02

Okay Chris - then just to make Tristan happy, you're going to have to buy
parts from Bob Roberts & Art at least once every two weeks to make sure
they're still honest. He will be requiring constant monitoring, and if stuff
is a day late you are to report it to group for him.
What a loser... Has ANYONE ever had a bad dealing with Bob??!! How 'bout
Art?? Now let's contrast that to Tristan.....
