I have a Popeye cab that was working until it was moved. The cab will not power up execpt the marquee. I checked the power supply and I am getting 5.2 volts from all the 5+ lines. I am getting 5.2 volts at the board. I have checked all the connections I know to check and I am still not getting anything.

I don't hear anything when I power up the machine (slight buzz from the speaker but no game sounds) and the neck on the monitor is not glowing.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Matt

reseat all connectors and check all fuses (remove one end of fuse and
test)

If you have no neck glow, disconnect the cord going to the monitor and make sure there are 120v AC going up the wire to it.

Did you try coining the game and start it to hear game sounds? Now if
this Nintendo game uses the monitor for audio then you are hooped if the
monitor is down - as suggested - look for glow in the neck (dark room)
to see if it has any signs of life.

These old Sanyo monitors can be repaired - depending on the failure of
course.

When was it last recapped? However by the time the monitor has failed
the problem is often something else as well as bad caps...
