Finally, do you have more pics of the Cube Quest? Wondering what the
seat attachment looked like..
Scott C.
Good idea on Jeff, I'll ask him, as Brian doesn't think he'll be able to do
a good color match.
I haven't taken a set of pic on the Cube Quest yet. I hope to get that
together soon.
Joe
I'll try to get together a set of pics soon on the Cube Quest.
The e&m pin head and backglass was a Williams Dealers Choice. The wood only
split on the joints/seams, so that wasn't too bad to put back together. The
glass, obviously gone beyond possible repair. I never tried to track down a
replacement. I sold the game really cheap. It was bad karma, I just wanted
to get rid of it ASAP! Really unfortunate, besides messing me up, the
backglass was in perfect condition too.

Joe;
What a story!
I can only imagine the horror of you losing your ride so far from home
and being stuck without a way out.
That is something that could be classified as a horror story, which
could be made into a 1 hour special on the video game collectors
channel, (if one existed).
I know that there are many people that can relate to your story and
thank you for taking the time to put it in writing, it made for a good
read.
Sorry about the hip, ouch!
No one really understands what we go through in the name of
"collecting".
Take care
Jeff
Wow, cool story. It takes a real desire to put all that effort into a
game. Good snag.
Side note, glad to read that Brendon got his Cube Quest working
correctly. A long time ago I did a trackball swap on the game for him
but I used a Happ ball with those red interface boards. The games
logic didn't care for the output from the trackball boards so it was a
bit on the flacky side. Shortly after I did some work for him I moved
to the Sacramento Area so I was too far away to continue working on
his games. Did you get a chance to see that Freedom Fighter he had?
Was it working? I worked for Malibu Gran Prix (parent company of
Millennium games (manufacture of FF)) when it came out. We had one at
the Castle Golf and Games in Redwood City Ca. The thing made great
money until the player crapped out and I converted it to a Rastan.
Strange thing is that Rastan made a ton more money then FF ever
could... Oh well.
