I was playing with the menu and set the startup game to be Defender on
my multi-Williams and now I can't get it back to the multi-Williams
menu. The manual says to use the auto/up button but I'm using it in my
Defender cab which is JAMMA and doesn't have those buttons. How do I
get back to the multi-Williams menu? Does anyone know if I can ground
the tilt, service or test to simulate the auto-advance being up?

Someone else who has their multi-Williams in a JAMMA setup must've
already had this happen to them.

I've emailed Clay but wanted to post here in case someone had an answer.

Thanks.

With the power off, ground pin 1 on connector 2J3 on the ROM board (the
upper left pin on the upper left connector) and power it up. This should
reset the multi-game completely. Then you can turn it off, disconnect and
start from scratch.

Good luck...

Thanks Rob, it worked like a charm. Now I'll have to solder a couple
wires and a switch that I can access from the coin door in case someone
playing the game ever does that to me.

Also, you *can* disable the setup-menu from the menu selections-- so people
playing the game can only choose games, not change the default game or clear
the scores or anything...
