Before you buy.

Sorry to say, but if a person pays $30 for a flyer, even if it is supposedly
"rare", then that person either has money to waste or doesn't comprehend the
concept of money and investments.
Spend $40 on that flyer today, and does one belive the value will jump up
high on it? Maybe someone who has the money to waste will pay more, but
it'll probably depreciate.
The most I paid for a flyer was $10. I would like a Simpsons pinball one,
but for $25, I have better things to spend my money on.
Chust my 2-cents which will probably get me flamed again...

Mmmmm - so the Japanese guy that spent $42,000,000 for a piece of canvas with
some paint on it doesn't understand money? WOnder how he got the $42 mil in
the first place.
People often buy what they enjoy regardless of its 'book' value or appreciation
potential. Its not always about profit or investments

Have you every tried to buy a print of a painting from any store (Prints
Plus, etc) ? You're looking at $20-$40 for, essentially, paper.
$81 is a bit much for something that's not all that interesting, but that's
my opinion. $25 for a Tempest flyer, on the other hand, is a nice piece of
artwork framed and hanging on my wall.

As for the $42,000,000 comparison, that is out of the league. It's like
comparing a Van Gogh to a third-grader's drawing.

As for "prints" they are at best a decoration, NOT a original!
I'd rather buy a $10 oil painting then a $100 "print"!!!
at least I know the $10 painting was from someone who actually did it, not a
mass produced (RE) from an original piece.
Do you want to buy a SCANNED flyer?????
didn't think so.!

Right now, I am spending $30 for some flyers. Notice the s? That means
plural. What am I buying? 10 flyers! Sure, $30, but for 10 of them,
that's realistic.
What I am noticing in this hobby are a few price areas: Realistic, eBay,
outright Greedy. I prefer door #1.
