It is a U.S. Billiards game. Kind of like pacman but with
Congressmen. Friend asked me about the game but I
have never heard of it and neither could I find the slightest
bit of info regarding it except the company U.S. Billiards.
When and why was U.S. Billiards in vids? This is strange.
C'mon Gamester, give us the story on this company cause
I am clueless.

Regards,
Sam G.

Sam,
Abscam was an FBI sting operation from the 70's where they posed as Arab
businessmen/oil sheiks and bribed US congressmen. It was kind of
enlightenling watching the tapes of all those congressmen taking bribes and
later getting busted.

This game is pacman in the sense that FBI agents are like the ghosts and you
are going after money. Hmmmm....
That is really strange that U.S. Billiards would make this kind of
game. Let alone in the early eighties.

C'mon Sega, make a game called "The Humidor" or maybe a
game like the original Elevator Action except it stars Bill the happy
President entering red doors and coming out with a smile on his face!
Maybe even a updated game of "Nibbler". Har Har Har!

Sam

US Billiards did make Piranha, which is a Pac Man clone in terms of
hardware, game play is a bit different. I believe they also made Quasar.

Where did you hear the Abscam story?

Someone posted about the real Abscam story in the 70's but
I got a call from someone that had the game in town and was
wanting to sell it. I passed it along to the next guy and it is now sold.
I didn't like the idea of the game all that much but the cabinet was
dedicated. Seemed more like a pac-man knockoff. Probably
run into it in the next couple of years if I am still living in Colorado
Springs.

Sam

They sold Quasar in the US. It was originally developed by Zaccaria
in Italy.
