Help Wanted - Pacman keeps adding credits after bootup

Hi,
I've got a pacman cocktail that immediately begins adding credits
after booting up. It adds credits until it gets to 99 and then stops.
If you press start, it starts normally but then immediately flashes
and completes the maze. The maze completing just goes on and on maze
after maze if you let it. The inputs of all the coin and credit lines
show high with the logic probe while the credits are adding, and the
outputs are constantly changing states. I can't tell much from the
outputs as these are on the bus. The problem seems to be on the board,
as I can plug a different Ms. Pacman board in and not have this
problem. If you have any suggestions please reply to my email as well
as the group as I typically don't watch this group. I primarily work
with pinballs, but I'd like to get this pacman going. TIA.

If I had to guess given your symptoms I'd say 8E should be replaced.
This chip inputs both the Rack Advance and the Coin 1 lines.

Given that you said the inputs are high I believe that the RM8 resistor
network is probably good.
