Japanese 3DO Games for Sale!

I recently picked up a bunch of Japanese Import games off of a friend
who knew an importer that wanted to sell all of his 3DO Import games so
I got a hold of a bunch and am selling them. These are either Japanese or
in some cases European or Korean. These games did not come out in the US and
I doubt they will in the future so now is the time if you have wanted to
get some of these games. THere are two categories, sports and other games
below.
All of the games are BRAND NEW. All are in excellent condition, have their
original docs, manuals and all inserts, and are in their original shrink wrap.
(Some I had to open to make sure they work and make sure they are even worth
selling but only opened for that purpose. One example was Sword and Sorcery,
which I opened and found out it doesn't work on a non-Japanese 3DO due to the
need of the Kanji Font in the 3DO's ROM of the Japanese Systems).
All prices include Priority 2-Day Mail and will be protected with padding.
I will be open to giving deals if someone wishes to buy more than one game.
In fact, at the bottom of the list there are samplers and even some so-so
games that I will throw in for free if you buy two games.
Email me with any questions but bear in mind, I can't read Japanese, and I
haven't spent a lot of time with these titles so I don't know all the specifics.
It's just like any import sale, you have to figure a lot out. Most titles are
very self explanatory, some aren't, and some are even in ENGLISH which is nice.

Very nice Soccer, All English text in game!
Lots of set up choices, nice gameplay.
World Cup Special (Soccer) CoCoNuts 45
This game was supposed to come to the states but
never made it. Nice soccer game with mostly
English text for menus and such, nice gameplay.
J. League Virtual Stadium 95 EA 40
Ea's 2nd version of FIFA released only in Japan.
Same nice FIFA engine and I guess some nice
enhancements but I don't know for sure since
most of it is in Japanese.

Pyramid Intruder Taito 45
This was a popular arcade game I believe in
Japan. It's a shooter in the vein of Starblade
or Burning Soldier
Defcon 5 Goldstar 40
This is the German version of the game. It is a
combination of Doom style exploration and shooting
as well as resource management of the base and also
FMV cut scenes that advance the plot. All is
happening in real time so you may miss parts if not
at the right place at the right time. Pretty cool.
Ultraman Powered Bandai 30
This is a digitized fighting game like Mortal Kombat
only it uses characters and monsters from Ultraman
series. Has FMV from the series, and 2D fighting
levels.
4 Player Waterman Game Sanyo 40
This is similar in concept to bomberman. you
have 4 players simultaneously trying to open valves
and drains to either wash the opponents away or
deflect the water. I don't know much about Bomberman
but it looks very similar.
Tetsujin Returns Synergy 20
Doom Game with EXCELLENT FMV cut scenes. The Doom
portion of the game is average. This game is also out
in the US, but this is the Japanese version.
YuYu Hakusho Tomy 45
This is a 2D fighter based on a popular anime series
in Japan. The art is anime and in the between scenes
there is a bunch of FMV from the anime show.
Firewall Goldstar 45
Only released in Korea. This is a shooter with
interesting computer graphics and cut scenes. Shooter
portion is similar to Starblade or Burning soldier

D's Diner, The Director's Cut Warp 55
This has lots of new scenes. It also comes with
3 Disks now, and a 4th audio cd that has 3 music
tracks from the game. Really nice if you liked the
first version.
Sim Tower Open Book 45
This is a 3DO version of the Mac's Sim Tower. I don't
know why this didn't come out in the states. Big manual
and basically a straight conversion of the Mac game where you
have to build a Skyscraper from ground up and place things
in the right spots to facilitate the people (much like Sim
city or Theme Park only with a Huge Skyscraper).
Princess Maker 2 45
This is an RPG sorta. You basically have to make a
princess. You have to teach her things, basically
bring her up right and she will be a princess. It
could be a girl's title in Japan or hey, it could be
for the guy's too, who knows, I don't.
Dragon Tycoon Edge Sanyo 40
This is a surreal RPG. I have no idea what the plot is
but you basically travel in this alien environment and
come to races that talk to you or fight and when you defeat
an enemy you take him on and can use him for a while in
the quest. Interesting but for RPG fans mostly.
The Deep Blue Fleet 45
Really nice naval sim. Lot's of depth. Quality title but
you better brush up on Japanese. If you are pretty familiar
with how sims work then you may be able to get your way
through or get a friend that speaks Japanese to help you.
Kobunaga's Revenge (or something like that) KOEI 45
This is the 3DO version of the popular game that has been
on all the systems. A very popular early East Asian military
sim. Nice title like above and same comments above apply.
Doctor Hauzer Panasonic 30
An early 3DO title that is very similar to Alone in the Dark
No Japanese is really necessary since the game, like AITD
is puzzle solving. Nice addition is the 3 views that the
game can be played in: AITD style, First Person like Doom, or
over head. All true 3D and interesting puzzles and deaths.
Samplers and Freebies ----------------------------------------------------
These samplers and games will be free with two games or just the price
listed.
All 3DO Magazine Samplers are really nice. They have an Interview
section with FMV interviews (unfortunately in Japanese), a Photo
CD contest section with photo cds sent in, a game section with
playable game demos, a movie section with FMV previews of games,
and other stuff. In most cases I only put some of the more
recognizable things in my description. There is a ton more stuff
that is on the disks to see.

Note, I stopped looking at every movie, clip, and section after

Games: Star Control II, Street Fighter II, Need For Speed (This
is a NEW TRACK! It is a variant of the Alpine level 2 but there
are tons of jumps and winding roads, even the bridge is different,
Mega cool :) , etc...
3DO Mag #7 15
Sword and Sorcery, Trip'D, Blade Force, and Slot Machine (name
unknown).
Note: this version of Sword and Sorcery does work on the US systems
but is creating the Japanese Font in software instead of with the
ROM in the Japanese systems so the game, while it works on all
systems, is slow. It is not like that in the finished version in
either the US or Japan.

F1 GP, Trip'D, Ballz, Immercenary (fully loaded and pumped up!
Actually fun at this level!), and movies of Blue Forest Moon a
very interesting RPG, and other stuff

Play Two of the characters in this demo of an all girls fighting
2 D game.
Virtual Stadium Professional BasebalL by EA 15
This demo has some features lock out but does have some interesting
stuff like all gameplay for two teams and also batting practice.
Nice playable demo.
F1 GP 20
3D Racer trying to be like Virtua Racing but falling short, a
ways short. This is a full game.
Anime Soccer Game 25
This is actually a neat title. Lots of story and anime about these
(what look to be) teenage boys. They have these FMV intermissions
but then the game goes to a full 3D soccer game. The total package
seems good but the gameplay, while not bad, is not as good as the
ones I have listed above.
World Cup Soccer Stadium 20
An encyclopedia on soccer. Pictures of stars, background info,
stadium info, all you need to know about soccer....in Japanese :(
