I recently purchased a Vectrex that was damaged in shipping. The
brightness pot was snapped right in half along with some other damage
to the plastic enclosure. I've got a replacement pot that I think
will work but I'll have to extend the legs to make it fit and face the
correct direction. It's a trimmer pot and doesn't have an extended
knob so I'll have to use a tool to adjust it once the case is back on.

Does anyone know of a source for the original part? I've looked all
over and I can't find one. The manual lists it as a 250k ohm +10%
1/4W v-type linear pot.

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

Don't think you can get the original any more. I had a look and you
can get a similar v-type linear pot from Digikey but with better
spec e.g. 1/2 Watt max power dissipation which is fine. However, the
shaft is too short, and the foot print with the three connections is
not physically the same.
