Just to say that my multi-cart arrived safely a couple of days ago* and
I've now had time to test it out thoroughly :-)

My children seem to particularly like Pole Position, which I'm a bit
surprised about...

Pole Position for Vectrex has always techically impressed me. Its the
only original game that displays curves. As we all know, shapes on the
Vectrex are normally seen to comprise of multiple straight lines. But
the road edges in Pole Position are true curves.

Yes, indeed. Given that many of the original games don't really stretch
the system (they are really "generation 1" games after all), it's quite
notable.

Another thing I really like is just how nice the cars are when turned to
the side. You hardly see it in the game itself, it's probably best seen
when the game is frozen after you've run out of time, but they're really
dinky!
