The Nutcracker Suite is not a ballet; it's an orchestral suite of
pieces taken from a ballet.

Having seen the other answer, I have a trivia tidbit to add. In Swedish,
the press is sometimes referred to as "tredje statsmakten" - "The third
power of government". Since I'm on vacation, I don't have access to
my dictionaries, so I can't check, but I can imagine that "estate" in
this context can translate as "statsmakt".

Close. The three traditional estates are the (established) church, the
nobility, and the commoners.

Ah, by that token, the press would be the fifth estate in Sweden, since
the old Swedish soceity had four estates. (Commoners were split into
townspeople and rural people.)
