I've seen distances quoted from 84 to 88 miles, as the crow flies.
Wikipedia cites the FCC azimuth co-ordinator[1] at 84.6 miles.
I found this out while setting the quiz, so stuck it in as a Tie Break
as I thought it was amazing (despite the fact I've done very-nearly that
drive in real life).
Scores:
Q1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 Total
Dan Blum 1 x 1 x 1 1 x 1 5
Mark Brader x x 1 x 1 1 x 1 4
Peter Smyth x x 1 x 1 x x x 2
Erland Sommarskog x x 1 x 1 x x x 2
Marc Dashevsky x x 1 x x x x 1 2
Dan Tilque 1 x 1 x x 1 x 1 4

Firstly, I'm sorry. I thought this was easier than it turned out to be.
Thanks for playing, though.
Secondly, congratulations to Dan Blum, who sneaks past
[1] I've seen the real azimuth co-ordinator too.
