My favorite was the guy who used to urge his horse forward with:
"Scratch gravel, White Wind!" Do I remember correctly that
he was called "The Green Arrow"?

I won't give the answer for Bullet yet, and your answer for Nellybelle isn't
correct, but very good, you aced the rest. :-)

I don't remember the Green Arrow. Was it a comic book ?

It was a Jeep (Pat Brady's).

int (*)(int, char **) makes a good boolean type. You can use 'main'
for true, and 'exit' for false. On some compilers, you may need to
cast exit() to an appropriate type. -- se...@solon.com's "infrequently

Remembered just as I was falling asleep...he was The Golden Arrow. And

I cannot believe that I am the only one old enough to remember that
nellybelle was the name of the jeep that Pat Buttrum (sp?) drove in the
Roy Rogers TV show.

Make that Pat Brady. (One of the Sons of the Pioneers by the way). Pat
Butram was Gene Autry's sidekick.

Speaking of cowboys horses names, I'm looking for any lists of pets,
horses, dogs, or vehicles of the famous, as in Schuyler King's "Black
Arrow".

Thanks,

Yes I think it was. The real Wild Bill had a horse call Black Nell if my
home made list is correct? :)

Always looking to add more horse, rider parallels...
