These questions were written to be asked in Toronto on 2018-04-03,
and should be interpreted accordingly.

On each question you may give up to two answers, but if you give
both a right answer and a wrong answer, there is a small penalty.
Please post all your answers to the newsgroup in a single followup,
based only on your own knowledge. (In your answer posting, quote
the questions and place your answer below each one.) I will reveal
the correct answers in about 3 days.

All questions were written by members of Bill Psychs and are
used here by permission, but have been reformatted and may have
been retyped and/or edited by me. For further information see
my 2017-09-25 companion posting on "Questions from the Canadian
Inquisition (QFTCI*)".

** Final, Round 7 - Entertainment

* James Bond Settings

James Bond usually tours the world in each of his movies. We give
you some locations where a Bond movie was set; you name the movie.

1. Florida and the fictional country Isthmus.
2. Siberia, Hamburg, Vietnam, South China Sea.
3. Miami Beach, Switzerland, Fort Knox.

* Last Words of Actors and Actresses

Yes, it's last words *again*. (I'm guessing that Psychs wrote
a regular-season round on the subject, realized they had enough
rounds without it, and broke it up to use this way.) This time
it's actors and actresses, all speaking English. Name them.

4. This Rat Pack actor was a nominated for 3 Oscars (and won one
of them) for Best Actor. Died 1957: "I should never have
switched from scotch to martinis."

5. This American actor developed a routine as a wisecracking
hustler with an ever-present cigar. Died 1977: "Die, my dear?
Why, that's the last thing I'll do!"

6. In 1999, the American Film Institute ranked her 10th on its
list of the greatest female stars of classic Hollywood cinema.
Her famed rivalry with actor Bette Davis is portrayed in the
FX television series "Feud". Died 1977: "Dammit! Don't you
dare ask God to help me!"

* Anime Adaptations of Manga Series

Don't worry, nothing too recent here. You might have seen these
series in the 1990s in North America.

7. This popular series was adapted from the manga series written
and illustrated by Osamu Tezuka. The protagonist is an android
with human emotions who is created by Umataro Tenma after the
death of his son. The original name of the series translates as
"Mighty Atom".

8. This is a Japanese media franchise created by Akira Toriyama in
1984. The initial manga was inspired by the classical
Chinese novel Journey to the West and follows the adventures
of the protagonist, Son Goku, as he trains in martial arts and
explores the world in search of seven orbs which will summon
a wish-granting creature. You might have also seen a related
later and more violent series, under the same name with the
additional suffix of "Z".

9. This series was adapted from the manga series written by
Buronson and illustrated by Tetsuo Hara, starting in 1983.
Set in a post-apocalyptic world, the story centers on a warrior
named Kenshiro, who possesses a martial art style which gives
him the ability to kill most adversaries through the use of
the human body's secret vital points. This often results in
an exceptionally violent and gory death.

* TV Show Composers

We'll name a TV show; you tell us who composed its theme music.

10. "A Charlie Brown Christmas".
11. "The Simpsons".
12. "The Facts of Life".

* Movie Sequel Subtitles

In each case, complete the title.

13. "Speed 2: ..."
14. "Star Trek III: ..." (1984).
15. "Sister Act 2: ..."

Humphrey Bogart. (Won Oscar for "The African Queen"; also nominated
for "Casablanca" and "The Caine Mutiny".) 4 for Joshua.

I for one was surprised when this came up during the original
game: I thought the group of entertainers who were friends and were
nicknamed the Rat Pack consisted of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy
Davis Jr., and a couple of others I couldn't think of (looking it up
later, I had Peter Lawford and Joey Bishop in mind), but not Bogart.
But people come and go from groups of friends, and it turns out that
the term was originally applied to Bogart and a group of his friends
including Sinatra. See for example:

"Jeopardy!" did this on Thursday, only they went the other way, giving
the sequence number and the subtitle and asking for the main title.
Their $600 question was #13 the other way.
