Subject: NO SALES, TRADES, OR AUCTIONS IN THIS GROUP
Summary: Sales, trades, and auctions belong in .marketplace.misc
Keywords: sales, trades, auctions, FAQ

Posts about buying, selling, auctioning, trading, giving
or getting cards belong in a series of newsgroups, under the
rec.games.trading-cards.marketplace.* hierarchy. Non-Magic sales
and trades belong in rec.games.trading-cards.marketplace.misc.
Such posts are not welcome on r.g.tc.misc, or on any of the other
trading-card discussion newsgroups. Please note that Magic has its own
seperate newsgroup marketplace hierarchy, which is detailed below.
R.g.tc.marketplace.misc is a very active newsgroup with a large
number of posts each day, and thousands of readers who are interested in
your offers! The group serves the dual purpose of making it easy for people
interested in trading to find such posts, and of making it easy for people
who are _not_ interested to avoid them.
Trading posts, therefore, are welcomed on .marketplace.misc, but are
banned by charter on all the other groups in the trading-cards.misc hierarchy,
including this one.
If for some reason you cannot find the marketplace.misc newgroup on
your system, try the following:

1) Ask your system administration for help in finding the group.
2) If they do not carry it, ask them to start.
3) If they refuse and you really want to read it, you may want to
investigate finding a new network provider.
4) Alternatively, you can post on the web from
http://groups.google.com/group/rec.games.trading-cards.marketplace.misc

However, even if you cannot read the marketplace newsgroups, you still may
not post trading articles to other newsgroups.

The readers (such as they are) of this newsgroup will be grateful for
your consideration in this matter. We welcome you to join the on-topic
discussion here. R.g.tc.misc is dedicated to discussing all aspects of
non-Magic trading card games which are not covered in another
newsgroup. Trading, sales, auctions and anything Magic-related are
out; everything else is fair game.

Other newsgroups that may be of interest:

r.g.tc.marketplace.misc buy/sell/trade non-Magic CCGs
