I've been thinking of trying to build a deck around clear the land and
soothsaying, using soothsaying to set up then next five cards to be lands
and then using clear the land to get those lands in play. Not really sure
if this is a good idea though. The man-lands could be cool, but I don't
know if the deck will be close to fast enough. It just seems that clear
the land is such a kick butt card, with the potential to remove 1-5 of your
opponent's cards from the game and give you bonus lands in a turn. What do
you guys think might be able to make this viable?

It's a thought I had, scripted, posted, and very much like. The deck is okay,
but very much suck against fattieblack.dec. Then again, what isn't bad against
fattieblack.dec?

Treetops and Watchtowers and Conclaves, oh my! Ports and Dust Bowls and <name
of a land>, hussah! Plains and... ::sound of a single gunshot being fired::

It's turbo-Mill. The fact that you can cut down 3 or 4 black fat cards, or 3
random burn shiznits, or whatever... it's a sweet card.

Firstly, run at least 32 land; otherwise, percentages in the early-goings will
be tough to pull off. Second, concentrate on a very conservative setup. Crap
like WoGs, Trellises... actually, it's more like Donais5CU with a LOT of land.

Third, have fun with it. With proper metagame decisions, C_t_L.dec can win.

Toodles!
