I started off playing with this silly Kormus Bell combo:
Cyclopean Tomb - Kormus Bell - Dwarven Catapult ;)
If the tomb was out early enough, I could paralyze my opponent (unless
playing black) and then later get enough mana to kill all their lands.

Gaea's Liege with Instill Energy works just as well.
