The Main object of the deck is to get out a large creature (hopefully hard
for the
opponent to get rid of) and clear the way for it. Be this via, DD, creature
removal,
or mana-deprivation (read:Armageddon). Burn also works to kill the opponent
if all
else fails. The deck works very well and interacts within itself
extraordinarily.
Anyways, here's the deck I came up with. LMK what you think of it..
<Board Control>
2x Repentance
// Slayer of llanowar behemoths and dragons. Very potent in today's
environment.
3x Fireblast
// Combos well with armageddon, plus cheap DD.
2x Afterlife
// Combos well with Aether Flash, plus cheap creature-control.
4x Incinerate
// Cheap DD.
1x Divine Offering
// Everyone plays with artifacts...
1x Serene Offering
// Everyone plays with enchantments...
2x Disenchant
// Like I said...
3x Quicksand
// Doubles as a mana source/weenie killer. (Soltari priests + knights
suck.)
<The Kill>
4x Orgg
// Incredibly cheap and underestimated creature.
1x Ethereal Champion
// Another underestimated creature and dificult to kill.
1x Staunch Defenders
/* They often prove effective against sligh/heavy burn decks.
4 life + a blocker to contend with is often a nuisance. */
<WMD> [Weapons of Mass Destruction]
2x Wrath of God
// Mass-creature destruction is just too important nowadays.
1x Subterranean Spirit
// Semi-mass destruction plus very difficult for mono-red to deal with.
1x Earthquake
// More mass-creature destruction. DD at the very least.
3x Armageddon
// The 'soul' of the deck. Very often a game winner.
2x Soltari Guerrillas
/* I've found these incredibly effective against many decks. Stompy
just can't deal with losing a creature every turn. They're very much
like a lightning bolt every turn. IMHO, the best shadow creature out
there */
2x AEther Flash
/* All but 2 of my creatures survive it and it was just too useful for
me to ignore. It destroys sligh/stompy and reduces the effectiveness
of "187" creatures. */
<Mana Sources>
3x Scabland
2x Marble Diamond
2x Gemstone Mine
4x Lotus Petal
/* At first I laughed at them, then I tried them. They really help my early
game.
A 3rd turn Aether Flash cripples a lot of decks, plus it allows me to cast
orgg/ then
armageddon while holding a fifth land. Anyways, they survive the 'geddon.
*/
8x Mountain
5x Plains
1x Fire Diamond
I really want to try and squeeze mind stones and wastelands in here but I
don't know
where. Scroll Rack would also be useful, but I'm wary to add it without
first adding
enlightened tutor or some other deck-shuffler.
I'm still working on the sideboard, but so far it looks like this:
2x Wall of Fire (Anti-Sligh/Weenie)
4x Honorable Passage (Anti-Sligh/Burn)
4x Pyroblast (Anti-Blue)
2x Boil (Again, Anti-blue)
2x Disenchant (Anti-propaganda)
1x Armageddon (Anti-blue)
Well, Let me know what you think!

I think you should put these in the sideboard, and just use disenchants
instead. Versatility will more important in your first game, then you
can SB in an offering in the subsequent games to enhance your deck
against your particular opponent.

This is kinda pricey, maybe Wildfire instead? Ogre Enforcer is also
good...

why not 4?

maybe consider undiscovered paradise, as it synergizes with geddons,
produces red and white, and you could even splash in some other color
with it - perhaps blue for memory lapse or powersink or something.

it's a good card even without a deck-shuffler, cuz it lets you sequence
your strategy. Put an orgg back for more mana or something.
