Sure. There is *no* rule that says you can not go over 20 life.
: Can your Life Meter go higher
: than 20,
Yes. People have reported to be in the hundreds of life during multiplayer
games.
: If yes, how high can the Life Meter go?
No upper boundary.
Ingo Warnke
Yes you can.
> If yes, how high can the Life Meter go?
Up to infinity.... oops... I almost forgot.... There is no such thing as
infinity in Magic. But your life total can be any finite number, there's
no upper limit (nor lower limit for that matter).

Sure.
>Can your Life Meter go higher than 20,
Yes, there is no upper limit to your life score. With the right
combination you can get one million life points.

A spell only fizzles if its target is gone. And yes, you can announce
spells that let you gain life even if you've got more than 20 life.
>If yes, how high can the Life Meter go?
The sky's the limit.

Yes.

There is no limit to the amount of life you can gain. You just _start_ at
twenty.

Yep.

Your Life Meter can go higher than 20. 20 is just what you start the game with.
>If yes, how high can the Life Meter go?
However high you can manage to get it. It cannot get to "infinity", because
that doesn't exist in Magic ... but if you can name a number, and have
some way to gain that much life, it can go that high.

Yes,
you are not restricted by your life points in any way, just keep them
above zero and they'll be happy.
>If yes, how high can the Life Meter go?
Virtually, any whole positive or negative number you can think of is a
legal amount of life points.
And as I have had this delusion myself when we played our first games
(Oh, I still remember my Stream of Life-War Mammoth deck) I understand
that you see 20 as a limit, but there is no upper limit.
