Red Counterspells

OK. I've found out that my Goblin Deck has one weakness. Spells. Since
my Goblin Wizard does nothing to protect me from Wrath of God or Tividar's
Crusade, I need some way to stop the spells. Or at least some way to
combat them. I've got Manabarbs to slow down Fireballs, Disitegrates,
etc..., but what about things like Wraths, Tividars, Terrors, and anything
that wipes out a card with spending a lot of mana. In short, are there
any red cards that can counter spells? I'm trying to keep my deck pure
red, but it looks as if I may have to add some white or blue.

The only Red counterspell is Red Elemental Blast. If you are that worried
about other people's spells, try mixing your deck with some blue.
Or just kill them quicker.

Two red counterspells I can think of are Red Elemental Blast and Artifact
Blast, but those two spells are very specific, against Blue and Artifact
spells respectively. You might have to add another colour if you want to
counter spells. Or, just always hold a goblin or two in your hand in
case of emergency.

If it's Tividar and Wraths that're worrying you, try 4 Flash Fires. Usually
slows down Mr White ( dont do it if he's a hacker though! ). There's a red
counter-spell for artifacts ( pretty limited ) and REB and the LE version (
name escapes me - Volcanic something I think. ). Terror is terror, he's only
got 4 :->
