hi there,

ok, i have a dragon mask in play.
then i play a ball lightning and i activate the
dragon mask, so that the ball lightning gets +2/+2
and then have 8/3 tample.

ok, the question is:
is the ball lightning going back to my hand at
the end of the turn, as the dragon mask says or
do i have to bury the ball lightning at the end
of the turn, as the ruling of the ball lightning
says ??????

it would be nice if someone could tell me the answer...

The answer is: it is your decision.

At the end of the turn, you have two effects that have to be handled:
'Return Ball Lightning to your hand', as per the Dragon Mask effect, and
'Bury Ball Lightning', as per the Ball Lighning itself.

Since you control both effects (both the Dragon Mask and the Ball Lightning
are your cards), you can choose the order in which those 2 effects are handled.

You can choose the do the Mask effect first, returning the Ball Lighning
to your hand. As the Ball Lightning is now no longer in play, the other effect
has vanished.

Or, you can bury the Ball Lighning first. Then you can try to get the Ball
Lighning back to your hand, but this fails, as it is no longer in play.

Obviously, the first option will be chosen in 99.9% of the time.

Oh, that one again. Since it is _you_ who controls both Ball Lightning
and Dragon Mask you get to choose the order in which your end-of-turn
effects are played. If you want the Ball Lightning to return to your
hand, play the Dragon Mask's effect first; should you for a strange
reason want to see the Ball Lightning dead, play its own effect first.

Markus, the ball lightning would go back to your hand. Because as the
active player you choose which end-of-turn effects happen first. So,
during your end phase, you would choose to return it to your hand, thus
ignoring its dying effect.
