I'm not going to decide whether the Armadillo Cloak is broken, but I can
tell you that you do gain 10 life. Once, I had *three* Armadillo Cloaks
on a Charging Troll. I gained 27 life by attacking with it. After I used
it twice (gaining 54 life) it was killed, but the game was over by then.

You gain 10 life. Both Cloaks trigger, and both see that the creature deals
5 damage, so that's 2x5=10.

Armadillo Cloak
1GW
Enchant Creature
Enchanted creature gets +2/+2 and has trample.
Whenever enchanted creature deals damage, you gain that much life.
The triggered ability of each Armadillo Cloak triggers, and each gives
you life equal to the damage dealt. So a 1/1 with two Armadillo Cloaks
gives you 10 life, as well as turning a Terminate into an Ancestral
Recall.

Not "very broken" ... but strong, yes.

10, 5 when the first Cloak ability resolves, and 5 when the second one
does. Each one triggers independently.

Yes, they each trigger.

You'll end up gaining 10 life, 5 plus 5 more. Both Cloaks will trigger; both
abilities will resolve, one at a time.
(Having Trample twice, on the other hand, gives it no further benefit than
just having the ability once...)

Please don't top-post (and it doesn't hurt to write "you" either).
Anyway, how do you figure? 3 Armadillo Cloaks on a Charging Troll
means that the 3/3 Troll gets +6/+6, which turns it into a 9/9. When
it deals damage, you gain 3*9=27 life.
