Reflecting Mirror Question

Hello. There was a debate quite a while back about how much
X-spells cost to reflect in a reflecting mirror...I couldn't find
anything on it in the current rulings.
The reason I ask is that once an X-spell is cast, the X is
considered to be zero...can you reflect all fireballs for 2, or do you
have to double the amount?
Also, can you reflect a reflection?

You have to double the original amount. If the Fireball is subject to
being Reflected, then it _must_ be in the process of being cast. When a
spell is being cast, X is whatever was spent on it.

X is only zero when the spell is _not_ being cast.
