Nope. It merely comes into play tapped and attacking. It never changes
from being non-attacking to being attacking, so those kinds of
abilities don't trigger.

Yes, and the answer is in the Darksteel FAQ for Gemini Engine
(although not in the Betrayers FAQ for Ninjutsu, oddly enough).

No. That trigger only goes off when you declare creatures as
attackers at the beginning of your Declare Attackers step.

No, actually. The Ninja is never declared as an attacker; it appears in
full-blown "attack mode". "Whenever an attacker comes into play" would
trigger, but there aren't any such triggered abilities...

Gatherer says it was:
*Dec 1, 2004 - The Twin token won't trigger any abilities that trigger "when [a
creature] attacks."
