main phase has

pre combat phase

are these 3 separate phases??
and if so... does that mean if I tap for mana say in precombat phase
and I do not use it... does thatr mean I will get mana burn during
attack phase ?

There are in fact 2 main phases. One main Phase before combat, one after
combat. You can get manaburn at the end of your first main phase, end of
second main phase, and at the end of combat.

The main phase does not "have" these phases. There is a pre-combat
main phase, a combat phase, and a post-combat main phase. This
distinction is important, because you cannot play sorceries, enchantments,
creatures, etc. during it.

Yes, but you really don't take it during the attack phase, you take it
right as the pre-combat main phase ends.

Erm, no. There are two Main phases and one Combat phase in the phases
you describe. One of the Main phases is before the Combat phase, thus is
called the "pre-Combat" Main phase; the other is the post-Combat one.

>are these 3 separate phases??

Yes. Two of them are Main phases.

Not quite; that means you will get manaburned as Combat phase -starts-
(well, even more technically, right -before- then, after both players
pass with the stack empty in Main phase). Before you even do anything
done "at the beginning of combat".

But yes, you can't float mana from first Main phase into Combat, or from
Combat phase into second Main phase. That's never been possible, even
back when Combat phase was "the attack step" and wasn't a phase at all.
