Tom: I have a question regarding the disk and enchantments on creatures.
I had understood that if you cast regeneration on a creature, than that
creature cannot be regenerated if a disk goes off, because the enchantment
leaves play before the creature has been destroyed (or at least damage
prevention has not yet occured). What about Thrull retainer? Since it is a
Sacrifice, it would seem, you could sacrifice it at the time the creature
is destroyed..because sacrifices happen immediately. I am confused on this
issue, especially in light of the creature bond questions floating around.
Could you possibly e-mail me an answer as well?

Sorry, you cannot sacrifice something that is already on its way to the
graveyard, and you cannot use the Thrull Retainer before it's on its way
to the graveyard, since at that time the creature hasn't died yet,
therefore cannot be regenerated.

This is not correct. The enchantment and the creature progress through
damage prevention simultaneously, so you can use the Regeneration one last
time before it goes away.

You cannot use Thrull Retainer to save a creature from the Disk's effect,
since the enchantment itself is on the way to the graveyard, and thus may
not be sacrificed.
