OK, as I understand it, phasing works like this:

A creature that is "phased out" is considered out of play, but not out
of the game. It cannot be the target of spells or effects, it cannot
attack or block, it cannot be effected in any way by anything in the
game. Token creatures that are phased out are immediately removed from
the game as a result of being out of play. Any enchantments on a
permanent that phases out will phase out with it.

A permanent with Phasing phases out at the beginning of your untap
phase. A phased out permanent will phase in at the beginning of your
untap phase. All phasing at this time occurs simultaneously.
