My question is:
Which artist would you most like to see published on a Magic card?
If they're alive then that's cool, but if they're dead then you have to
name a piece which they did and create a card for it to appear on!

Rob Alexander draws some jaw-dropping mountains in some of his work.
Oh wait, he's already doing Magic cards. ;) (The Portal 2 mountains get my
vote for best art on any card, unless I'm really missing something...)

"Persistance of Memory" for the Time Ebb (or whatever) card would look
cool. The Time Ebb art(s) have never struck me as all that great...

Da Vinci's 'Breadth should equal height' sketch would make an
interesting card. Something called 'Grand Designs' perhaps? Munch's 'The
Scream' would be good too. And what about Giger and Frazetta's stuff?
And Mark Gibbons at Games Workshop?

I totally agree with Giger and Frazetta. I'm not to familiar with Gibbons
though. I'll check out his stuff.

Marilyn Manson would make an excelent card.....

But as said there are a lot of artist working for Games Workshop who can do
really excellent pictures. I don't have my White Dwarves here, so couldn't
give you their names, but some work of their is really great.

Yay, but the guy who's head of the company (I think) does some really
crap stuff which I think he forces them to publish!

I remember that John Blanche did some of the GW stuff.

If anybody has seen the artwork for the UNKLE album, then they'll know
Futura 2000 who was the project's artist, and who became a major part of
the US graffiti scene a few years back. He draws weird, sketchy aliens.
Time for a summon legend...

Jackson Pollock would also be fun, or Escher!

I'ld like to see some basic lands done by some of the French
Impressionist artists.

Indeed. How about an alternate art Bosium Strip by M. Escher.. :)
*evil grin*

Or a creature looking somewhat like the Angel and Devil drawing (lots of
angels/devils tiling the sphere).

Escher? well his Reptiles could be animate artifact, you know the ones
with the little alligator/dragons wandering around a page. His self
portrait of him in a sphere could be called Distorted Perception. I
can't think of a good ability though. His metamorphisis could be used in
the card of the same name, but it is really long. The picture I mean

Perhaps a set of cards that go together? Met, Amor, Phi, and Sis,
perhaps? I'm thinking lands, perhaps. One of them can be tapped for
colorless mana. Tap two (different) of them and get one mana of any
color. Tap 3 (different) of them and get 2 mana, each of any color.
Tap all 4 types to get 4 mana, each of any color. That way, they
metamorphasize as time goes on and become more powerful.

<T>, Tap an untapped Amor, Phi, or Sis you control: Add one mana of

Just some thoughts.
