The Magic Online FAQ said there'd be a Linux version, but it's been
cancelled. I'm sick of rebooting every time I want to play some
Magic, and then rebooting again when I want to do something useful.

First attempt: WineX. Doesn't work. The starting screen comes up,
but none of the text on it is visible. Wine / WineX are under active
development, so maybe it'll work later, but for now it's a no-go.
(Unless maybe there's some config wizardry I missed.)

Second attempt: Win4Lin 3.0, with Win98 (FE) inside. It works.
(Surprisingly, because most games don't -- Win4Lin doesn't support
DirectX.) It's sluggish, though -- my Athlon XP 1800+ feels like
maybe a P2-300.

It's possible that Win4Lin 4.0 might be significantly faster than 3.0.
But I'm not willing to pay the upgrade price just to find out, and
there's no free trial. If any MTGO players happen to have Win4Lin
4.0, please give it a try. Thanks.

On a side note, PTFB (Push the Freakin' Button, a little freeware
program to autoclick on annoying Windows buttons) gets the "Launch"
button but not the "I Agree" button. Still a slight improvement.
