I am looking to enter the 1995 UK & Eire National Championships on July
1st, and I require some information about Type II Tournaments.

a. What are the currently legal cards for use in Type II Tournaments ?
4E, FE & IA
-or-
4E, DK & FE
According to the tournament rules I have (dated April 19th) there is
a one month grace period from the release date of an expansion set,
in which case both the above combinations would be legal at the time
of the tournament, but I would like official confirmation of this
before I make up my deck.

b. As of yet I don't have that many 4E Cards (as I'm concentrating on
IA), so can I use the RV cards I have that appear in 4E - the same
goes for any LG, DK, AQ and AN cards that are now in 4E ?

c. If I can use my older cards, and there are text changes in 4E (eg
El-Hajjaj) which card takes presedence? I would assume the latest
edition, if that is the case is there a spoiler list about for 4E so
I can check the card text for differences ?

That's about it for now :)

Any help would be appreciated

Right. The official release date on Ice Age was June 8, so both types
of decks *should* be legal within 30 days of the 8th. Let me strongly
suggest, however, that you CALL THE ORGANIZERS of the tournament to make
sure they haven't decided to do otherwise. Please *don't* go in and say,
"Sparky told me it was legal to use Ice Age, so I have to be able to use
it!" I won't back you :^)

It's the card name that matters. If it's on the 4E list, you can use
the old card (like Antiquities Stripmines). All wording is supposed to
be played as though the card was from 4E, though. Duelist #5 has a full
list of all changes.

though.

Whoa! When was this ruling made????? This is a big change! Don't you
think this should have been announced on the net?
