Hi Folks!

1. Can "Pulled Fangs" be prevented ? (PF is played in the press
phase, and AFAIK prevent-cards can only be used in the resolution
phase)
And how about preventing the damage from PF with a flak jacket ?

2. When a "Blood of Acid" is played, is the damage the opposing
minion gets preventable? And in the superior version, which
minion tries to inflict the aggravated Damage (Roetschreck!)?

Thanks in advance!

All damage is preventable unless stated otherwise on card text.
The catch is that most damage prevention effects are combat-only
(actually, all of them are). So damage outside of combat is not
ordinarily preventable.

In combat, things aren't much easier. The RT has ruled that Damage
prevention cards can only be played during the strike-resolution
phase. Existing damage prevention effects (like Flack Jacket) can
be used at any time during combat.

PF damage is preventable with in-play effects (like Flak Jacket) and
can be changed to normal damage with card effects (like Skin of
Night) no matter when PF is played.

If PF is played during strike resolution (which is possible if the
combat is ending prematurely at that time - from S:CE or from the
opposing vampire being sent to torpor), then the damage could be
prevented with damage prevention cards as well as in-play effects.

Yes.

The damage is being inflicted by the vampire that played the Blood
of Acid card.
