Hello Everybody,
I want to let everyone know about the next Edmonton Tournament.
Here are the details for Crusade III: Frozen Carnage:
Crusade III: Frozen Carnage will be a V:tES Constructed Deck Tournament
that will be held at the UofA campus at 10 am on Saturday, March 17th,
2001. It will be part of the Con-Fusion IV gaming convention.
The entrance fee is only $4. (That's real cheap! Wow!)
Over $100 worth of prizes will be given out to the players! Prizes
that I'm putting in (generated from each $4 entrance fee) will be over
$30 worth of prizes (including a SW starter deck, V:tES Blood Bag for counters,
and SW boosters.) White Wolf will be putting in $60 worth of assorted
SW singles (Black Metamorphosis, lots of Lucitas, commons, uncommon, and
a bunch of very cool rares.) There is also a Vampire Clan novel,
so the tournament will have over $100 worth of prizes! And every
tournament player will get a free door prize. Wow! :-)
This will be the big gaming convention event for this year, so don't
miss it. After this, we'll just be doing 1 constructed tournament
until around June, when Final Nights comes out. Then we might do
a Pre-release event if WW comes through with some support.
Please email me or sign the sign-up sheet at my house if you want to
register for the tournament. You are responsible for making a deck
list of all the cards in your deck and presenting the list to the Head
Judge at the tournament. Your responsible for the accuracy of your
deck list and your deck. No banned cards. No proxies.
Make sure your deck is legal.
Like last time, all players will get free door prizes at the end of
the second round.
In addition to the tournament on Saturday, we will have 2 game demo
events. The 1st game demo will take place at 6 pm on Friday, March
16th. The 2nd game demo will take place at 12 noon on Sunday, March
18th. Beginners are welcome at the demos. So bring a friend
who may be interested in the game. Bring extra decks so the new players
might be able to use them.
I'm looking forward to this event.
Well, this winter is bringing another blood chilling event to Edmonton
-- City of Champions. :-)
